Overall this project just helped further develop my skills in Illustrator as well as get be familiar with the use of gradients and making more complex lighting. I liked my font choices because it gave a almost classic look to everything making feel older and a classic look. My colors are just some simple and warm colors that help add to the warm feeling of the menu.
I tried my best to capture all of the principles of design while using the elements effectively as possible. I mainly enjoyed using space to show the principles of design.
I tried to do as much as a could making a small scene with the little bit of space I had but I really liked the effect and vibe I made for the story especially in the last image. I was hoping for an uncomfortable close feeling with a unnerving image to finish off the scene.
I created this character based mainly off of the blind rage idea. I made his calm and then a rage state for the character.
I used the same lasso tool form the previous activity but this time I did not use the feathering option. I masked this image by hand and had to make sure that it looked good and there wasn't any of the background from the original image. I also tried to use the masking tool and paintbrush to help blend the new image into the background and I create a effect I'm fairly happy with.
This was a fairly simple process all I needed to use was the lasso and masking tool. This has helped further develop my photoshop skills. This is only the beginning of my process but I will gain more skills and knowledge as I do more in this program and do more projects like this.
I began this project with the the nut and bolt which I found fun to make. All three projects were fun to make but I found the wine class to be the most fun being able to move the points around and change how the glass looked. Th easiest park was the nut and bolt which was not very complicated while the screw driver was much more difficult figuring out how to make it look right and using tools I've never used before. I used my previous modeling to help make the shape and refine them more and more with each project. This will help me later to make more complex and difficult models. Learnt some more complex modeling methods that will help me make other models later on. I would have liked to make other objects and maybe mess around with more animation as well.
This was an extremely fun project to work on. I found it to be an overall easy project outside of the occasional problem here and there. The lighting was the most interesting part to work on. Working on more animation is always fun to work on and try and get better at.
