Adobe Illustrator hasn't been too difficult to get a grasp on moving from Photoshop. Many of the tools are similar as well as the way color works being similar except instead of selecting two separate colors there is the main color and then a outline color. There hasn't been too much I dislike about Illustrator so far but I'm sure as a learn more there will be more i begin to like or dislike about the program.

I began this project with beginning to unwrap the tank model I had made previously this year. then after unwrapping I started stitching the sides together to create a easier model to texture. This was probably the hardest part of the project as it was very time consuming and tedious. the easiest part of the project was unwrapping the model and applying the texture. Now that I have finished this project I have learnt the basics of applying textures to models and how to unwrap them.
This was a fun way to start grasping the basics of creating assets. This helped me understand how to not only add textures to a object but also place them correctly and make adjustments where needed.
The material editor is very useful for adding real detail to them out side of shape and basic colors but allowing for images and more accurate depictions of real martials like changing the glossiness or shine of a object. The martial editor also helped create depth to the objects and help further their detail beyond what I could have done before.
I chose these projects because they were the work I was most proud of. My personal favorite was the Color practice because I had a lot of fun learning about color theory and creating these appealing color combinations and making something I am very happy with. I enjoyed making these other works and they all helped further develop my skills and knowledge of design and photoshop.
This was a very fun project and I am fairly happy with how all the variations turned out. The first harmony I am most happy with and is a bright but also somewhat subtle feeling that I really enjoy. The second one is very bright and bold color that I'm least happy with but it was a fun trial. The final variation is much more cold and calmer that I really enjoy.
I have a decent sight for color and can distinguish many colors their tones, hues, and shades. The final game was the most difficult to play because of the very lose connections between the colors and how many different ones there were and all the different tones and hues made it very difficult.

Computer Modeling and Animation 11/20/23 AI has become an extremely popular tool recently, but its use has sparked up a lot of controversy because of the way it is being used, particularly in art and the creation of AI art. Ai has been used to create works of “art” which at first can seem harmless but its method of creating this art uses the theft and distortion of thousands of artists' works without their consent or knowledge. This has caused a large debate on the legality and ethics of AI art. AI is like many other tools and can be used to help and enhance art and help create new tools for digital artists to use but its current use is simply thievery and should be stopped as soon as possible. AI’s main issue is that it uses art made by people regardless of their permission or desire for their art. This has become a huge problem due to it landing in a legal grey area. The AI is in a way creating original art but the way in which it makes this art is by compiling data from stolen art and repurposing it to create a “new” piece of art. The next large problem with AI is that artists do not have a choice or say in whether or not their art is used in AI programs. AI takes and uses art indiscriminately across the internet. A problem that has stemmed from this is that certain artists have had their art taken and used to create an AI that tries to replicate their style and create pieces that look very similar to the original artist's art. This again brings up more legal issues as this art can be attempted to pass as the artist’s original work and if AI gets more developed can possibly be used by big corporations to replace artists. The use of AI art has become an extremely scary idea to future artists in the workforce because as seen recently with the SAG-AFTRA AI is being seriously considered as a way to reduce work and possibly replace people’s jobs and people are needing to fight to make sure AI is not used unethically or used to replace people. Artists unfortunately do not have the union protections like the writers or actors had and to ensure their job security they need to prove the use of AI art is illegal and immoral. AI is an extremely useful tool in certain aspects but it can easily be abused especially by large companies so the use of AI art must be reduced and be legally tampered to ensure the safety of thousands of people’s jobs and livelihoods. This is my first project in Photoshop. In this project I learnt how to use the basics and commonly used tools. Photoshop is a little weird using certain tools like panning around the image and simple stuff like that but after awhile I got use to it. Overall I'm excited to keep learning this program and learning more and more about it.
This has ended up being a extremely fun time learning how to model/animate in a 3D environment. My personal favorite projects to work on were the Plane surface modeling and my final project. I am extremely excited to keep learning and develop my skills more and more as this year goes on. I hope to learn more and create even more interesting models as time goes on as well as start learning other software. I am really proud of the growth I've had starting from simple primitives being made up to create one model, and now using not only primitives but also surface modeling and other modifiers to create not only one model but a whole scene that contains multiple models.
